Biography
Mohsen Adeli has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years from Tabriz University and postdoctoral studies from Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of Sharif University of Technology. In 2013, he was promoted to the rank of full professor in chemistry. In 2014, he was invited to the Institut für Chemie and Biochemie at Freie Universität Berlin as a guest professor within the SFB765 for three years. He has published more than 80 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.
Research Interest
His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of functional hybrid nanomaterials. Functionalization of carbon-based nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes, graphenes and fullerenes by dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers for biomedical applications is the focus of his current research. Over the past several years his group has developed new ways to functionalize and modify carbon based nanomaterials.
